October 1, 2018 - Kimberly has been accepted as a bookwriter to the New Musical's Inc. Core Curriculum program for musical theatre writers. This program focuses on the unique vocabulary and collaborative process of creating new musical theatre. Along with discussions about the craft of writing for musical theatre, composers, lyricists, and bookwriters are put together to form collaborative teams for a variety of musical assignments. Each month participants are paired with a different set of collaborators for a new assignment. The final collaboration culminates in the creation of a 15-minute musical, which is produced by the Academy for New Musical Theatre. The annual 15-minute musicals event is a much anticipated sold out event in Los Angeles, CA.
